4 Top Beauty Tips For Healthy And Plump Looking Lips

The lips are one of the most prominent facial features. Therefore if you can nail those perfect looking lips, you are on your way to looking effortlessly attractive anytime, any-day (even without makeup)

This blog post will reveal top quick and easy tips on achieving healthy and plump looking lips.

Tip No 1 - Moisturise your lips

This is one of the things we think or plan to do, but never actually do.

It is such a quick and simple step but we have to be intentional about doing it.

Always keep a Lip balm handy, and apply it frequently throughout the day. However lip balms are addictive, so choose them wisely. Avoid Petrolatum or Petroleum based Lip balms as they don’t turn out beneficial in the long run. Instead opt for lip balms with Ingredients like Natural Beeswax, Glycerine, Almond Oil and Vitamin E.

Alternatively you could simply apply Vitamin E oil shortly before bedtime.

Tip No 2 - Stay Hydrated

Water is an essential staple in our diet, as well as the appearance of our skin; our lips included.

Hydration brings out a pinkish tinge and a juicy look to the lips, while dry lips look exactly the opposite, dark and dull.

Keeping yourself hydrated will get rid of lip dryness, irrespective of the season. External hydration/ moisture application alone is not sufficient; internal hydration is equally important.

Tip No 3 - Exfoliate your lips

Yes,,,,, not just your face needs exfoliating. Your lips also need it.

This aids in getting rid of the Dead cells, resulting in soft, plump, and kissable lips.

100% raw organic honey is a great form of exfoliator. This type of honey has a natural gritty texture, which helps to give that polished plump looking pout.

Apply a pea size portion of honey on your lips, and scrub in gentle circular motion.

Alternatively you could apply clarified butter at night time ( preferably before bed); then scrub off the dead skin cell with a tooth brush the following morning while brushing.

Tip No 4 - Apply Lip balm prior to lipstick / lip gloss application

This will ensure maximum lip hydration albeit having Lipstick on.

When possible avoid matte lipsticks as they have a tendency to make the lips dry. Opt for Cream or Satin finish instead.

That’s sums it all up, why not try one of these tips and let us know how you get on.
